Positive: The value was good for the room it offered.

Negative: The staff were deceiving, I don’t think it’s a good place for foreigners.

Positive: The owner was exceptionally helpful, providing useful information on taxis from/to the airport and ensuring we were dropped off at the correct place. She also reassured us that the museum was actually open (after booking flights and the room, AI had told us it was closed for repairs, but this is not true). Later, she arranged for a driver to take us to some hard to reach archaeological sites in the area. Her English is fluent, and we found her extremely friendly, trustworthy and genuine, which made a real difference to our stay in Sanliurfa. There is also a delicious breakfast available, but we got up too late to eat it, except when we got up earlier for the tour!

Negative: Nothing serious, but there was a small leak of water from the shower door.

Summary: We would certainly stay at Old Town Urfa again!

Positive: We had a great stay in this beautifully restored house among the winding streets of Sanliurfa. The hostess was extremely welcoming and kind, and a mine of information She offered us a whole day tour of 4 main archaelogical sites around the town, including Gobekli Tepe, at a very reasonable price, which we were pleased to accept. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. There was no TV, which for us was no problem at all.

Negative: Having to leave. We'd love to stay here again
